Job description

This job encompasses work done on a row crop, hop, berry, fruit and vegetable farm.

This is a skill level II position that requires at least 3 months agricultural equipment operation and hop farm labor experience. Workers will be required to work independently and with minimal supervision once given job tasks.

The lifting requirement for this position is 60 pounds.

Workers with a valid driver's license and that are insurable may drive vehicles to transport crop, equipment, supplies, and workers.

All other duties assigned under this order will be those duties of Ag Equipment Operator and Farm Worker and Laborer Crop, Nursery and Greenhouse, under the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment Statistics Standard Occupational Classification Code 45-2091 and 45-2092.

Special Requirements

The employer agrees that it will offer, advertise in its recruitment, and pay at least the Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR), the prevailing hourly wage rate, the prevailing piece rate, the agreed-upon collective bargaining rate, or the Federal or State minimum wage rate, in effect at the time work is performed, whichever is highest.

Employees that perform work in Oregon may be eligible for overtime.
