Job description
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties in connection with the operation and maintenance of ditches, canals, and waterways used exclusively for supplying and storing water for farming purposes. The majority of the work activities during the overall contract period will be related to controlling/maintaining the irrigation system to convey water to farms in assigned area for irrigating fields and crops.
Special Requirements
Applicants must have 1 month experience with basic irrigation work, and provide the contact information of at least one reference who can verify experience and performance. Due to the nature of the job and the requirement to drive on public roads, applicants hired must be able to obtain a valid drivers license within 10 days of hire.
