Job description

The worker will perform a variety of manual duties related to the first-time establishment, development, and maintenance of a new fruit tree orchard (including species such as Ficus, Citrus, and Punica granata [Pomegranate]), from ground preparation through the initial non-bearing growth period. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Monitoring tree health and growth throughout the multi-year development period until the orchard reaches commercially sustainable production.
• Basic maintenance and operation of irrigation systems and agricultural equipment/machinery used for establishment and upkeep.
• Performance of any other related tasks as needed for the development and care of the new orchard.
