Job description

We need seasonal workers to assist with our corn, wheat, and cotton crop production season. Employees will perform all assigned duties related to growing these crops, including preparing fields for planting; attaching farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, seed drills, and harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools; operating tractors, planters, sprayers, manure spreaders, combines, irrigation equipment, and other farm machinery; planting, cultivating, weeding, spraying, fertilizing, and harvesting crops; applying fertilizer and pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus, weeds, and diseases; installing, maintaining, and repairing pivot irrigation systems; loading and unloading crops and materials manually or with conveyors, forklifts, transfer augers, or hand trucks; adjusting and monitoring equipment to ensure proper operation and detect malfunctions; inspecting, adjusting, and completing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and irrigation systems; recording required agricultural and production data; cleaning work areas, equipment, and facilities; maintaining farm grounds and landscaping; operating tractor-drawn and self-propelled equipment to plow, harrow, fertilize, plant, cultivate, spray, and harvest crops; and maintaining and repairing farm vehicles, implements, equipment, buildings, fences, and other farm structures while keeping accurate operational and production records. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer.

Special Requirements

The job requires exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures, extensive sitting or walking, and frequent stooping or bending. Applicants must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and must possess a valid, regular drivers license.
