Job description
We farm 8600-acres of soybeans and corn. We have a cow/calf operation as well as a feed yard. We are requesting seasonal workers to assist with our crop production season. We will need help with planting, spraying, harvest, hauling, and running heavy equipment and checking irrigation pivots. Employees will need to complete all aspects of raising the crops including operating farm equipment, driving farmtrucks to haul crops from fields to storage. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and irrigation systems. Employees will be required to complete general farm duties and farmyard maintenance as needed. No commercial truck driving is required. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive walking, pushing, pulling, sitting, repetitive movements, frequent stooping, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license or equivalent within 30 days of hire. Require 3 months experience.
