Job description
We combine wheat, corn and beans. Operate self-propelled custom class harvesting machines to harvest a variety of grain and oilseed crops. Adjust speed of cutters, blowers, conveyors, and height of cutting head using hand tools. Change cutting head as appropriate for crops. Service machinery and make in-field repairs . General shop work, farm maintenance and related duties pertaining to grain farming operations. Workers are expected to maintain their assigned living areas and employer-provided equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Workers are required to use all equipment safely and responsibly.
Special Requirements
Must be able to provide references to verify experience. Must be able to work for the entire itinerary and join the employer at any one of the locations that the employer has a crew located at that time. Require a regular driver's license. Require 6 months custom harvesting experience.
