Job description
We are a custom grain harvesting company. We harvest wheat, canola, milo, corn, soybeans, field peas and sunflowers in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, South Dakota and North Dakota. Our season starts mid April where we finish up maintaining equipment and begin equipment maintenance and operation. Our harvest starts mid May with wheat and ends mid November. Employees will operate combines, tractors and other farm equipment. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment e.g. welding, torching, grinding, and 12v electric repair. Employees will assist with all aspects of harvesting these crops, and complete general farm duties as assigned. The employer, at its sole discretion, may grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience. Employer may also, at its sole discretion, offer performance-based incentive bonuses that are not guaranteed and are determined by the employer. Workers returning for a consecutive season will be paid at the previous season’s rate if that rate exceeds the current published rate.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive sitting and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employer will conduct post-hire, random drug tests at no cost to the employee to enforce a drug free workplace policy. Failing a drug test will result in termination. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license. Require 2 months experience.
