Job description
Job requires worker to complete tasks in care, maintenance, and production of field planted nursery stock. Employer will provide instructions and training on specific job duties.
Worker will be required to complete the following activities as directed by supervisor: maintain varieties of ornamental trees and shrubs; plant, transplant and harvest nursery stock; prepare soil, fields and tree blocks for planting; tree block maintenance, including mowing, weed whipping, and applying fertilizers; dig and remove planted ornamental trees/plants from field; load and unload trees and supplies; general maintenance and clean up, including removing debris, rocks and other trash on the farm, weed control by hand and other methods, and cutting grass; scraping old trees; pruning; staking; irrigation installation and maintenance; drive and operate skid-steer, utility vehicle, tractor on farm property only; drive Employer-provided vehicle to other locations as directed.
Pay will be hourly.
Other duties assigned under this order will be consistent under Bureau of Labor Statistics Standard Occupational Classification: Farmworkers and Laborers, Crop, Nursery and Greenhouse Workers (45-2092)
Special Requirements
Experience Requirement: 2 month(s) verifiable experience in commercial agriculture required. Applicants must furnish job references from employers of the last 5 years establishing acceptable prior experience.

Minimum Productivity/Performance Standards: Worker must possess requisite physical strength and endurance to repeat general labor process throughout workday. Worker must work at sustained pace and make good faith efforts to work efficiently as reasonable under working conditions.
