Farm Hand

Job description

The nature of the job duties to be performed by the Farm Hand consists of operating heavy equipment for crop maintenance pertaining to the planting and harvesting of crops, tending to livestock by providing daily care and upkeep of livestock, and conducting maintenance operations of the farmland and livestock facilities. The equipment involved includes tractors, skid loader, feed truck, ATVs, and occasionally a Mack straight truck for delivering feed.

Work hours as determined by weather and livestock needs. The work day may begin / end earlier or later on any given day and evening. Typical workweek is Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., with potential nights and weekends required depending on needs.
