NORTH CAROLINA HARVESTING LLC.FLC, (13) Temporary Agricultural Workers for North Carolina in (Nash, Wilson, and Wayne Counties) from Mar-25-2026, to Dec-20-2026. OPERATING FARM EQUIPMENT. Agricultural Equipment Operators, of Planting “Tobacco, Sweet Potatoes, and Cucumbers”, and Driving Buses.

Farm Equipment Operator. Operator of equipment for preparing, cultivating, maintaining, and planting "Tobacco, Sweet potatoes, and Cucumbers." Manual Harvester Operator/Installer. Operate manual harvesting equipment. Operate a forklift to load and unload, and perform other farm materials. Load and unload farm materials by hand. May operate and perform minor maintenance and repairs to the irrigation system. Operate mowers. Plant, water, spray, and weed. Prepare soil and growth medium, haul and spread topsoil, fertilizer, peat moss, lime, and other soil conditions on the areas. Digs, rakes, and screens soil. Fill tanks with water. May operate and perform minor maintenance and repairs on farm vehicles, implements, and equipment. May repair fences, sheds, and other farm buildings and structures. Perform farm, field, and shed sanitation duties. Mow grass and operate a trimmer around farm buildings. Operate farm vehicles to haul crops and drive other farmworkers from place to place around the farm properties (including on public roads to reach farmers’ fields) during the workday. Though not a hiring requirement, if a worker drives a company vehicle during the period of employment, then at the time of operating the company vehicle, the driver must possess a valid driver’s license issued by a U.S. state or foreign equivalent and operate the company vehicle in accordance with the license restrictions and vehicle classifications applicable to that license.

The job is outdoors and continues in all types of weather. Prolonged walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Able to lift and carry 75 pounds repetitively throughout the workday. Workers should be physically able to do the work required with or without reasonable accommodation. The use or possession, or being under the influence of, illegal drugs or alcohol during working time, is prohibited. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol testing at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Requires 2 months of verifiable work experience as a farmworker. The estimated hourly rate is: (U.S. workers guaranteed $16.39/hr.), (H-2A workers guaranteed $14.70/hr.) “AEWR; Workers NC”. Guaranteed 35 hours a week. Will provide daily transportation round trips to and from housing to the work-site location, at no cost to the workers. Housing is provided at no cost to workers who cannot reasonably return to their residency daily. The employer provides the tools at no cost to workers. 3/4 scheduled working hours guaranteed. Transport/subsistence reimbursed for the costs incurred by reporting to the workplace if the worker completes half the period of employment. Return Transportation Refunded if the worker terminates the contract. The employer understands that the Fair Labor Standards Act applies independently of the H-2A requirements and imposes. Obligations on employers regarding payment of wages. 20 CFR 655.122(h)(1). In the event a female worker is hired, the employer will provide separate sleeping, bathing, and toilet facilities for male and female workers. Must be 18 years old.
