Job description
Workers will plant, cultivate, weed and harvest vegetables by hand working in fields and greenhouses. Worker will also pack vegetables in the field into boxes for distribution. Weeds will be thinned by hand, transplants will be planted by hand, and workers will pick, pull and cut vegetables to harvest them. Worker will also drive tractors pulling harvesting wagons. Must have three months verifiable experience and be able to lift 50 lbs. Crops are Squash Varieties, pickles, cucumbers, peppers, and cabbage. Workers will spend long hours in a stooping position. Two workers are anticipated to start this position in March of 2026 and 1 worker is anticipated to start in May of 2026.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
