Job description

Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, handtrucks, forklifts,or transfer augers. Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions.Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery. Operate or tendequipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.Maintain farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Attach farmimplements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Loadhoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers,suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks. Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manurespreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farmworkers. Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Till soil;plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
