The role also involves pest control for livestock, including applying insecticides and disinfectants. Transporting animals, managing their health, and ensuring they have adequate food and water supplies are key components. Additionally, general farm maintenance is a significant aspect of the job, including the operation and upkeep of various farming equipment like tractors, trucks, sprayers, and harvesters. Overall, this role demands versatility and the ability to balance a wide variety of tasks across crop cultivation, livestock care, and general farm upkeep, requiring both mechanical and animal care expertise to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
