Farm Labor Worker

Job description

Workers will harvest blueberries and fill buckets then transport them to trucks.
Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds frequently for the work period provided. Must work
outside in extreme temperatures.

Crop: Blueberries. Perform manual labor to grow, harvest, load, and unload blueberries. Hand pick blueberries of the correct size and color. Workers must place, not drop, blueberries into a bucket for harvesting, taking care not to damage them. Full containers must be taken to the designated area on the trucks and exchanged for an empty container and then returned to the assigned row and repeat the process. Workers must be careful when sorting so as not to damage or bruise the blueberries.

They will also assist in cleaning and maintaining fields and work areas, including weeding and
assisting with Good Agricultural Practices policies. Workers must be able to lift at least 30 pounds frequently during the work period provided and must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures.
