Job description

Main Job Duties
Workers will perform a variety of hand and manual tasks on the ranch, including:
• Planting, cultivating, pruning, and maintaining trees and fruit plants
• Preparing soil, weeding, watering, and assisting with harvest of fruit and other crops
• Feeding, watering, and caring for ranch animals, including horses, cattle, and poultry
• Cleaning barns, pens, and coops
• Moving animals between pastures or pens
• Assisting with basic health checks by reporting signs of injury or illness to the employer
• Operating basic farm tools and small equipment (wheelbarrows, shovels, hoes, hand tools, small tractors) under supervision

Working Conditions / Physical Demands
• Work is performed outdoors in all reasonable weather conditions.
• Requires frequent bending, lifting, and walking.
• Basic job requirements checked include: lifting, exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing/pulling, extensive sitting or walking, frequent stooping/bending, and repetitive movements.
