Job description
Workers will run 12hr (Twice a day) irrigation sets on grass hay, and turf wheel line and hand line. 24hr (Once a day) irrigation sets on alfalfa, alfalfa hay, and hay wheel lines and hand lines. Workers will weed and hoe (with a long handled hoe) carrot seed and grass seed crops and row crops, maintain and repair fencing, maintain grounds and buildings. Workers should be able to lift 50 lbs and have 2 months of row crop irrigation experience. Drug testing will be performed upon suspicion, incident or accident, at the employers cost. Failure or refusal of a drug test are grounds for immediate termination.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. The employer may offer additional work hours or these hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of electronic devices during work hours is restricted to emergencies only.
