Job description
Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: leaf raking; planting flowers; watering; soil cultivation; weeding; spray application; load/unload equipment from trucks; spot sodding; seeding; wrapping/staking trees; sweeping/clean-up; operate hand, push, and sit-down tractor lawn mowers; other misc. related functions. Entry level; requires supervision.
Special Requirements
Must lift/carry 60 lbs., when necessary. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and bend frequently. Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. Saturday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
