Room Attendant

Job description

Perform any combination of cleaning duties to maintain guest rooms and public areas and other property buildings, in a clean and orderly manner. Duties may include making beds, cleaning and replenishing linens, cleaning rooms and halls, stocking and organizing, sanitizing, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming. Assists with washing, drying and folding linens. Inspect all linens and guest room supplies for quality and safety. Some outdoor spaces included.

Shifts vary and range from 6am – 2pm; 7:00 am - 3:00 pm; 8am-4pm, 10a-6p, 11:00 am - 7:00 pm; 1:00 - 9:00; 3pm – 11pm, 11pm - 7:00am. Open 7 days per week. Workdays and shift times will vary. Shifts vary based on business levels, occupancy, and scheduled events. Holiday and weekend shifts are required. $15 per hour and $22.50 per hour for OT when available. Possible quarterly performance bonuses and holiday bonuses. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. On the job training is not required but will be provided if necessary.

Special Requirements

Must be able to operate a handheld communication device and work with cleaning chemicals safely. Must have the ability to bend, stretch, and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis, ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time up to 90% of the day, must be able to climb and descend stairs on a regular basis, and must have the ability to work without constant supervision. Must be able to work with various cleaning chemicals without issue. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
