Job description
Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types. Load, unload, store, stack, move/distribute materials/equipment. Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. Clean equipment/machinery. Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, ramps, or other temporary structures. Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials. Set up and dismantle concrete forms. May assist other craft workers in pouring concrete. Clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials.
Special Requirements
Requires twelve months of construction experience. Must lift/carry 50-80 lbs., when necessary. Must be able to frequently walk, climb, stoop, bend, and reach. Saturday work required, when necessary. A motor vehicle check or ability to provide employer-paid certified motor vehicle record will be required for approved foreign and domestic workers who drive company vehicles. (Driving is a not a requirement of all workers in the position). Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
