Job description
Assist to build crate and skids and assist mill operators by holding/supplying equipment/materials as needed and cleaning work areas/equipment. Work in mill as part of a team to grab and guide corrugated metal panels from the roller to conveyor using standard gloves and stack, wrap and crate metal panels. Load/unload trucks. Maintain safe work environment. This is manual work and does not include machine or equipment operation. Entry level; requires supervision.
Special Requirements
Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident. Post-hire employment eligibility (e-Verify) check required of foreign and domestic workers. Must be available to work either shift schedule of 6:00AM - 2:30PM M-F or 2:30 PM - 11:30 PM M-F. All workers are required to wear appropriate footwear, including steel toe boots, to prevent accident or injury in the performance of job duties. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
