Job description
Lawn Care Workers - Temporary full-time positions available in Shreveport/Bossier City, Louisiana. Duties: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, and raking. All applicants (U.S. workers or H-2B workers) must pass a drug test and criminal background check before being hired in the proffered position (pre-employment drug test/criminal background check required). Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Three (3) months of experience as a Lawn Care Worker required. Employer will provide transportation to and from job site to job site. If needed, the employer will assist in arranging optional worker-paid lodging for hired foreign and nonlocal U.S. workers. Higher pay may be available to workers with extensive experience. Work will be performed at customer worksites throughout the area including Caddo, Bossier, and De Soto Parishes. 40 hours/week plus overtime; 8AM to 4PM. Overtime hours will vary and are not guaranteed.
Special Requirements
MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 75 POUNDS. MUST PASS DRUG TEST AND CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK. NO REQUIREMENT THAT THE EMPLOYEE MUST LIVE ON THE EMPLOYER'S PREMISES. THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT THAT THE EMPLOYEE MUST LIVE ON THE EMPLOYER'S PREMISES. IF NEEDED, THE EMPLOYER WILL ASSIST IN ARRANGING OPTIONAL WORKER-PAID LODGING FOR HIRED FOREIGN AND NONLOCAL U.S. WORKERS.
