Job description
Load/unload company trucks/trailers with forms, rebar, and tools needed to complete the work. Clean/prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards. Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes. Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools. Mix, pour, spread, and level freshly poured concrete. Use/operate portable concrete mixers, shovels and rakes, and other small hand or powered tools. Operate power vibrator to consolidate concrete. Operate jackhammer or drills to break up concrete or pavement and load into dump truck/trailer. Cut out damaged areas, drill holes for reinforcing and position reinforcing in concrete. Clean worksites with a broom and clean up any trash, tools and/or debris as needed. May operate company vehicles. Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones. Spray materials, such as water or cure, through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces. Place, consolidate, or protect cast-in-place concrete. Apply caulking compounds by hand or caulking guns to protect against entry of water or air.
Special Requirements
M-F, start/end times may vary depending on weather and job conditions. Optional Saturdays if needed. Overtime varies. Able to lift 50lbs. Pre-hire background check required.
