Job description
Welcome and greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, present menus and provide detailed information about dishes and beverages offered. They will take accurate orders, deliver food and drinks, serve wine and alcoholic drinks to patrons. Waitstaff should anticipate the needs of guests and offer personalized recommendations while ensuring a smooth dining experience and flow by collaborating with kitchen and support staff. Guest inquiries and concerns should be resolved promptly and professionally.
Special Requirements
Working conditions include a fast-paced work environment and ability to lift/push up to 40 lbs. Must be able to quickly move arms, hands, and fingers to grasp; manipulate, write, type, and assemble objects. The ability to walk; sit; stand for extended periods of time; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The ability to comprehend and follow directions while effectively handling stress and difficult situations/interactions while also remaining focused and professional. Being organized with attention to detail.
No experience req. Maintain professional appearance and uniform standards based upon the Resort policies and/or standards. The specific days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling and business volume but will generally be 5 days per week, weekends and holidays are not guaranteed off. This position will work one of the following shifts, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, or 4:00 pm to 1:00 am. Split shifts are possible. The business is open 7 days per week, 365 days per year including weekends and holidays. Modifications to the employees schedule may be made based upon business needs and volume. Advanced notice of this need may not always be possible, but all attempts will be made to communicate these changes as soon as possible.
This is a tipped position, wait staff will earn $5.49 per hour plus tips or $19.47/hr ($29.21/hr O.T.) whichever is greater.
