Job description
Servers will be responsible for greeting and seating customers; checking the IDs of customers to verify that they are of legal drinking age; setting up the dining areas, taking and placing orders, carrying trays and plates, serving food and beverages, clearing/cleaning tables, cleaning and sterilizing dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, and facilities; stocking service stations with items such as ice, napkins, and straws. Servers may be placed in either Medinah Country Club’s fine-dining, formal restaurant or the casual, bar-and-grill restaurant for the duration of the employment period, as needed, and placement in one or both restaurant outlets will be made at the discretion of the Restaurant Manager. Both restaurants are located at the Club’s main address. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 6:00am – 2:00pm, 9:00am - 5:00pm, or 2:00pm - 10:00pm. Shift hours may vary. Special Requirements
The Petitioner will consider any person for employment who possesses at least three (3) months of experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check at employers expense.
