Job description
Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites installing underground utilities and performing concrete work. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. Work on or with a PCC concrete paving crew, a catch basin/curb crew, a site prep crew, and a pipe crew. Work with a foreman or project superintendent to successfully complete projects from start to finish.
Special Requirements
Ability to understand concrete and methods of installation and construction. Good Understanding of basic math, ability to learn and follow directions. Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times. Ability to lift 50 - 75 pounds for 25 yards. Must be able to obtain a drivers license. Pre- employment and fit for duty (physical) drug screen required. Will travel to worksites within the area of intended employment.
