Job description

Farmworkers will be involved in all stages and aspects of vegetable production, including: seeding, watering, transplanting, cultivating, crop maintenance, tractor work (for soil prep, transplanting, mowing, etc.), weeding, harvesting, and post-harvest washing and packing.
Crops: Annuals, Arugula, Beans, Beets, Bell peppers, Bok choy, Broccoli, Cabbage, Kale, Collards, Carrots, Celery, Cilantro, Cut flowers, Eggplant, Endives, Fennel, Garlic, Green beans, Head lettuces, Lavender, Lettuce, Melons, Napa cabbages, Onions, Parsley, Peas, Peppers, Potatoes, Radishes, Pumpkins, Root crops, Spinach, Spring mix, Spring onions, Squashes, Sweet potatoes, Swiss chard, Tomatoes, Tomatillos, Turnips, Vegetables and melons, Zucchini

Workers who possess a valid driver’s license and meet all applicable legal requirements, including holding a doctor’s certificate as required by 29 CFR § 500.105, may be asked to drive vehicles for transporting workers, goods, or commodities on company business. This task is voluntary, compensable, and not a mandatory job duty. Workers without a valid driver’s license or doctor’s certificate will still be fully eligible for employment and are not disqualified from any other job responsibilities outlined in this application. The employer can and will make alternative arrangements for the transportation of workers should the need arise.

Special Requirements

3 months experience in vegetable farm work (including planting, seeding, harvesting, irrigation and packing) required.
