Job description
Conduct pre-scheduled activities with designated participants/groups. Conduct daily whitewater rafting trips with different and various participants with goal of providing safe and adventurous trips. Guide patrons in rafts down whitewater rapids, demonstrating proper use of equipment for a safe trip. Prepare and store gear and trip equipment properly and maintain safe and professional environment. Assist in management of daily operations by assisting with customer care, resolving complaints, arranging trip itineraries, and oversight of safety logistics of scheduled trips. Operate and lead rafting trips, explaining principles, techniques, and safety procedures to participants and demonstrating use of materials and equipment. Administer first aid per prescribed procedures and notify emergency medical personnel when necessary.
Special Requirements
Must be first-aid/CPR/AED certified (or equivalent) and have graduated from swiftwater rescue course (or equivalent).
Applicants may be required to undergo post-hire/pre-employment background and reference checks. 6-10 hours per day, Mon-Sun, including weekends, holidays, day and evening hours in rotating shifts between 6AM - 5PM.
