Job description
As a landscaper, the workers will be part of a team that will perform a variety of duties including landscape installation duties and
general roadway maintenance tasks. Workers will use hand and power tools and equipment such as sod cutters, shovels, wheelbarrows,
and chainsaws. Workers will safely mow grass with a variety of equipment, machinery, and tools along green areas near highways, roads, and frontage roads. Workers will build and maintain gardens and/or other outdoor landscapes. Workers will install and maintain
mulch, trees, and plants. Workers will also conduct manual labor for tasks such as digging holes, trimming trees, and overgrown hedges. Workers will walk along assigned areas to pick up, remove, and dispose of litter and debris. Workers will safely operate hand/power tools and equipment required to perform each task.
Special Requirements
Workers must be able to work flexible shifts. Must be able to work outdoors in varying climate patterns. Construction and outdoor- related experience are a plusthree (3) months of experience in mowing or landscaping. Workers must pass an employer-paid pre- employment, post-employment, and random 10-panel drug test. Workers must pass a pre-employment background check. 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday.
