Job description
May include but not limited to:
- Calculate cost of goods or services
- Process Sales or other transactions
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers or automatic
- Greet customers entering establishments
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
- Provide general information or assitance by answering incoming calls and answering customer questions
- Help customer find the location of products
Special Requirements
- Must be able to speak and communicate clearly in English
- Must be able to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
- Must be able to able to arrange store goods in a certain order or pattern
- Must be able to greet customers and look for ways to help customers
- Must be polite and friendly
- Must be able to work the cash register, electronic scanners, or related equipment
- Must be able to stand for the entire work shift
- Must be available for the entire contract period
- May conduct post-hire, employer-paid drug testing
Special Requirements and Provisions:
- Schedule varies (days of the week and shift times). Additional hours may be offered. May be
required to work weekends.
- Employer may offer a raise, bonus depending on experience and merit.
- Daily Transportation is not provided.
- Workers Report directly to one worksite daily.
- Employer may provide optional housing to workers who do not reside within a reasonable
commute to primary worksite location. Housing approximately $300-$400/person
