Job description
Perform food preparation duties such as preparing salads, appetizers, cold dishes, portioning desserts, garnishes, drink mixes, and brewing coffee. Store food in designated containers and storage areas to prevent spoilage. Check temperatures of food and food storage areas, such as refrigerators and freezers. Refill service areas and prepare tables with supplies such as ice, food, tableware, linens, salt/pepper, and condiments. Take orders from patrons and answer questions about menu items. Enter orders into computers for transmittal to cooks. Serve food and/or beverages to patrons. Clean tables, counters, refrigerators and floors by removing dishware, wiping down, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming,. Take out trash, checking and/or cleaning all work areas.
Special Requirements
Be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Be able to move quickly in a fast paced environment and be on your feet for 3 hours at a time. Must be able to speak, read, and write English and communicate well with guests.
Days and shifts may vary. Holidays, weekends, and evenings required as needed.
Employer reserves the right to pay a higher wage, rate, or bonus to any worker in their sole discretion based on skill, tenure, performance, and experience.
Employer is offering paid on the job training.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Optional employer housing is available at no cost to the worker.
Employer is offering up to 16 hours of overtime per week as needed, but not guaranteed.
Transportation to and from optional employer housing to the worksite provided at no cost to the worker (onsite).
