Job description

Use hand and/or power tools or equipment to perform a wide range of landscaping and irrigation duties, including laying sod, planting, pruning, weed pulling/chopping, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, sprinkler installation. Plant trees, shrubs and flowers. Haul topsoil and mulch. Workers possessing valid drivers' licenses may transport crew members to job site locations. Entry level.

Special Requirements

Ability to lift 50lbs. and bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the day. Workers must be able to lift and carry weights of up to 50 lbs., when necessary, such as with mulch, fertilizer, or other materials. They should have the capability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials needed to complete their assigned tasks. The employer will rely on workers' self-representations and observations to assess whether they meet this requirement. Saturday work required, when necessary. Hours may vary and overtime required based on weather and project need. The employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned, in accordance with 20 CFR 655.20(k). On-the-job training will not be provided. Drug testing and post-hire background check may be required after hire but before the commencement of employment at the employers expense for all workers, both U.S./domestic and H-2B workers. Post-hire background and motor vehicle check required of foreign and domestic workers at employer's expense.

Travel to Brightview offices and worksite locations in Travis, Brazos, Caldwell, Guadalupe, Hays, Lee, Milam, Bastrop, Bell, Bexar, Burleson, Comal, and Williamson Counties of Texas.
