Job description

This is a non-licensed helper position permitted under Ohio pesticide licensure requirements when working under the direct supervision of a licensed pesticide applicator. Therefore, under the direct supervision of a licensed pesticide applicator, Turf Technician Helpers will handle pesticide-related tasks, including mixing or applying pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, or insecticides through sprays, dusts, vapors, soil incorporation, or chemical application on trees, shrubs, lawns, or crops; cleaning equipment; and disposing of pesticides.

Special Requirements

Able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Some overtime and weekends required. Hours may vary but 8 hour work shift. Post hire random drug testing.
