Job description
The position of Laundry Attendant will be responsible for sorting, washing, ironing, and folding hotel laundries and linens, delivering laundry between property buildings, and will temporarily fill in as laundry supervisor as needed. The applicant will work with cleaning chemicals. As supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring the other two team members are performing the duties satisfactorily and signing off on completion of duties. The position reports to management if there are any problems. The position is not responsible for taking any disciplinary action and is not responsible for scheduling, personnel decisions, etc. Maximum weight lifted on a regular basis is 8-25 pounds and 25-50 on an occasional basis.
There are no education or experience requirements for this position
Shifts will either be 7:00am - 3:00pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm (rotating schedule of 5 days per week)
**If needed, employer intends to assist foreign and non-local U.S. workers secure worker-paid lodging not to exceed reasonable fair market value cost based on number of occupants.
