Construction Laborer

Job description

Construction Laborers will be responsible for performing tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Prepares tools and materials for the construction site as directed by Superintendent or Foreman. May operate a wide variety of hand and power tools: air hammers, earth tampers, drills, cement mixers, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May dig trenches, be a spotter for equipment operators, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Sets up surveying and measuring equipment as directed by the supervisor.

Schedule: 40 hours per week. The work schedule can vary and may include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday. Example shifts: 7:00am – 3:00pm or 6:00pm-2:00am. Shift hours may vary.
