Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job description

Duties may include: Operate harvesting machines to harvest crops. Adjust speed of cutters, blowers, conveyors, and weight of cutting head, using hand tools. Change cutting head as appropriate for crop. Service machinery and make in-field repairs.
May be required to obtain a CDL & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).

Possible weekend/holiday work.

Special Requirements

Valid driver's license, clean MVR, employment reference, 3 months experience with farming and harvesting.
Given the safety-sensitive nature of operating heavy machinery and work vehicles-the preemployment drug test is directly related to ensuring workplace safety, regulatory compliance, and the protection of employees and the public. The drug testing requirement is consistent with the responsibilities associated with equipment operation and interstate vehicle transport. Drug testing will be conducted after hire and at the employer's expense.
