Job description
Responsible for the safety and general well-being of all beach patrons in a designated recreation area. Perform open-water rescues by retrieving distressed swimmers from the ocean to dry ground on the beach shore; provide basic medical treatments as necessary, and requesting emergency medical personnel for serious injuries.
Special Requirements
To ensure safety of beach patrons, must be able to perform the following tasks: 1,000 meter run, 1,000 meter swim, and 1,000 meter board paddle in 30 minutes or less. May be required to undergo pre-employment drug screen, background check, and driving record check. FOUR 10-HOUR DAYS/WEEK, SUN-SAT, VARYING SHIFTS BETWEEN 7:30AM AND 7:30PM.
