Job description
Farm Equipment Operator 1- Job Description:
Workers will perform diversified agricultural work in potato and grain production including:
Irrigation pipe and wheel line movement and layout, pivot inspection and minor repair assistance, seed cutting and seed handling equipment operation
Monitoring, rock and weed removal, field sanitation, loading and unloading materials, dirt work and field preparation
Cellar and harvest equipment monitoring and operation, conveyor and grading line monitoring, agricultural tractor operation as assigned, operation of farm vehicles on farm property, and general farm labor duties as directed.
Work includes both manual labor and agricultural equipment operation and requires continuous outdoor physical activity.
Employees that want to be drivers must possess a valid driver's license. The driver’s license is not a pre-hire job requirement but preferred. They may drive workers from living quarters to the work sites and vice versa. They may also transport workers to the grocery store and to perform errands. Drive times may fluctuate depending on the nature of the crops, business needs, and weather conditions.

Special Requirements
Worker must possess 3 months of Farm Equipment Operator experience.
