Job description

For the purpose of preserving and maintaining wildlife habitat on the farm: performing manual labor including hauling off trash and discarding other debris, managing food plot, inspecting and recording wildlife population; operating various tractors and farm equipment such as tractors, backhoes, planters to work ground and enhance native land; prepare and maintain land; assist with planting crops such as corn, soybeans, irrigating crops; maintaining and protecting areas such as forests, forest areas, woodlands, wetlands, fields, range, lands, and other natural features through such activities of combating insects, pests, and diseases harmful to plant life; maintaining erosion, and the leaching of soil; operating chain, and pole saws; sawing and pruning tree limbs; using hand tools to remove undesirable, plant varieties, trash, and other objects; performing general maintenance, repairs, and/or clean up of storage sheds, farm structures, buildings, fences, gates, barns and all equipment. Must speak and understand English.

Special Requirements

Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a drug test at no cost to the worker and be subject to the employers drug free and alcohol free workplace policy including testing protocols. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
