Job description
The Room Attendant is responsible for upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction by responding promptly and professionally to all guest requests. Depending on occupancy levels, the Room Attendant services an assigned number of guest rooms each day, which may include up to 16 vacant rooms, 24 stayover rooms, or a combination of both. Duties include thoroughly cleaning guest room, such as making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and ensuring all equipment is in proper working condition before and after use. The Room Attendant performs deep cleaning as needed in accordance with Omni standards while efficiently meeting productivity goals. Additional responsibilities include restocking and replacing used items such as linens, towels, and guest amenities, as well as maintaining a neat, organized, and fully stocked supply cart at the end of each shift. The Room Attendant is also responsible for removing room service trays, turning in lost and found items, and reporting any maintenance issues or concerns through Synergy. This role requires maintaining a consistent Four-Diamond level of service and performing other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the housekeeping department.
Special Requirements
No prior education or experience is required for this role. The worker must have strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. The worker must have the ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive movements for up to 8 hours at a time. The worker must also have the ability to bend, stretch, reach, push, and lift up to 20 pounds movements for up to 8 hours at a time. The worker must also have the ability to bend, stretch, reach, push, and lift up to 20 pounds intermittently. In addition, the worker must be willing and able to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet operational needs and ensure a high standard of guest service. Conversational English skills required.
