Job description
Help pipefitters or pipelayers by performing duties requiring less skill.
Gather required tools and equipment, and transport materials and equipment to work site.
Haul rock to the trench and prepare rock bed for pipe.
Measure and cut new pipe using hand tools as instructed, placing the assembled pipe in a trench.
Backfill trench with small equipment.
Clean shop, work area, and machines, using solvent and rags.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 100 pounds.
