Job description
Help mechanics with the maintenance, replacement, and repair of vehicles, machinery, and other equipment. Install or replace machinery, equipment, and new or replacement parts and instruments, using hand or power tools. Examine and test machinery, equipment, components, and parts for defects to ensure proper functioning. Perform other duties such as furnishing tools, materials, and supplies to the mechanics; cleaning or lubricating work area, machinery, equipment, instruments and/or tools; and holding materials or tools for mechanics. Disassemble broken or defective equipment to facilitate repair and reassemble equipment when repairs are complete. Maintain service schedule for company equipment. Perform other related duties as requested by the mechanic.
Monday- Friday, Saturday work may be required, if needed. 40hrs/week, overtime as needed. Bonus/raises awarded based on merit and/or tenure with employer.
Special Requirements
Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. Saturday work may be required, when necessary. Employer-paid pre-employment drugs testing. No experience required.
