Job description
Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Assists craft workers by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work areas and equipment at the end of the day. Mark reference points on construction materials, install wooden structural components under the direction of a carpenter, measure materials or objects for installation or assembly, cut wood components for installation, and move construction or extraction materials to locations where they are needed. Loads and unloads equipment and building materials from trucks.
Special Requirements
Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Saturday and Sunday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid post-hire drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers upon suspicion of use. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
