Job description
Operating self-propelled equipment that reaps, harvests, threshes, swathes, or winnows crops; performing manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment; performing safety checks on equipment; maintaining and repairing equipment and other tools; transporting crops to storage area, and transporting equipment and other tools used for harvesting from one field to another; recording information about crops such as yields; cleaning work areas and maintaining grounds; using hand tools to attach equipment; driving trucks to haul harvesting machinery from field to field. While a CDL is not required workers who have a CDL may operate CDL equipment. Must speak and understand English.
Special Requirements
Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
