Job description

This application encompasses multiple start dates of need. The employer anticipates the following ranges of start dates in addition to the date listed in Section A.3:
Range start dates 1 - from : 04/13/2026 - 10/27/2026- 1 Worker
Range start dates 2 - from: 06/08/2026 - 10/27/2026- 9 workers
These supplemental ranges of start dates be subject to change due to weather, crop and market conditions, and other factors.Farm Equipment Operator 1- Job Description:
Operate and maintain various types of farm equipment, including tractors, combines, wagons,and other farm equipment in a safe and efficient manner for harvesting organic and conventional crops.
Attach farm implements to tractors and combines.
Assist mechanics with repairs, grease and check hydraulic fluids daily.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs to equipment as needed and ensure that the farm equipment is in good working condition and adheres to all applicable safety rules.
Drive vehicles to haul crops, supplies, farmworkers, tools.
Workers may drive a pick-up that seat 6 or less passengers. Employees that want to be drivers must possess a valid driver’s license. The driver’s license is not a pre-hire job requirement. They will drive workers from living quarters to work sites throughout the day, and vice versa, and provide one weekly trip to workers to purchase groceries (transportation is provided for workers who must be provided housing under the applicable regulation). There is no set schedule or designated drivers for the pick-up.
