Crops: Honey Production

All aspects of commercial beekeeping. Inspecting hives, feeding bees, managing pests and diseases. Place supers on hives for honey production.

This application is being filed pursuant to the regulations at 20 CFR 655.301 - 655.304 for Itinerant Commercial Beekeeping Employers. Applicants must be available for the entire contract period. Applicants hired after the start date must be available to begin working where employer is currently located, and remain for duration of itinerary.

Special Requirements

No high school education is required. Must be able to work for the entire itinerary and join the employer at any one of the locations that the employer has a crew located at that time. No fear of/non-allergic to bees/pollen. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively. Workers must have a valid, insurable drivers license or be eligible to apply for same at no cost to the worker. Employer-paid post-hire, random, upon suspicion and post-accident drug testing required. Any worker who declines to take or fails a mandatory drug test will be terminated and paid for all hours worked, if any.
