Job description

Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties such as drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Rock roll, tillage, rock pick, spread fertilizer, handle chemicals, and harrow. Tow harvesting equipment. General lubrication, service (check fluids), wash, and minor mechanical repair to farm machinery. Yard maintenance such as mowing, weeding eating, and clean up. Shop maintenance such as clean up, carpentry work on houses/garages. Any other tasks that may need to be completed on the farm. Schedule may vary depending on crop and field conditions. Work may include weekends, evenings, or overtime as necessary during peak periods. The employer will provide notice of schedule changes as far in advance as possible.
