Job description

The employer is seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to assist with the blueberry, corn, watermelon and blackberry crops. Duties include hand harvesting, grading and field and/or on-farm packing blueberry, blackberry and corn ; as well as grading, placing stickers on and on-farm packing of watermelon. Duties also include possible general farm labor such as, but not limited to, weeding, pruning, pulling plastic, maintenance and cleanup. Workers should follow safety and farm instructions. This job will be done under varying outdoor extreme weather conditions such as heat, direct sunlight, cold weather, possible rain, wind, and exposure to pollen. Repetitive physical conditions such as prolonged walking, standing, heavy bending, stooping, reaching and lifting will be involved on a regular basis.

Special Requirements

Workers must be dependable and punctual and have the ability to stand, bend, and work for long periods outdoors. They must pay attention to detail and quality. Workers must adhere to all safety rules as instructed by supervisors and practice safety in all aspects of work.
