Job description
We need seasonal help with our grain and crop production. Employees will need to assist with all aspect of raising corn and beans. In the spring this will include field preparation, tilling and planting the crop. In the summer employees will need to assist with spraying and caring for the crop during the growing season and in the fall, employees will need to assist with harvesting and hauling the crop. Employees operate farm equipment including tractors, sprayers, and other farm equipment. Job also requires picking rocks in the fields. Employees will need to drive semi-trucks to haul the crops. Complete routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and trucks. During the summer employees will need to also assist with yard work including moving and yard maintenance around buildings. Complete routine maintenance and repairs on farm buildings to assist with upkeep.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive sitting, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Employees must have a regular drivers license and be able to obtain a CDL within 30 days of hire. We require 3 months of experience.
