Job description
Workers will prepare soil by cultivating and use a variety of instruments and machines. Workers will irrigate crops, pick crops by either hand or knife, place in buckets and transfer to wash, grade, and box. Workers will then transfer crops to refrigeration. Workers will operate farm equipment, tractors, pallet jacks and trucks to transport produce from fields to packing sheds, No smoking or alcohol permitted at job site or housing facility. Worker must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Special Requirements
Hours listed in Section A.6 are the anticipated hours to be worked. These hours could increase or decrease based on weather conditions, crop delay, pests or disease, crop yield, available labor, and or productivity. Use of cell phones during work hours is prohibited, supervisors will have phones in case of emergency.
