Job description

Assisting with reaping, harvesting, threshing, swathing or winnowing crops such as wheat, sorghum, corn silage; Load crops; Perform manual or mechanical adjustments to equipment; Perform safety checks; Keep detailed records regarding fields, crops, and samples; Assist to develop, implement, and oversee all crops, feed, nutrition, and related programs; Examine inventory and equipment for production and processing of silage; Generate reports and present findings to management; Facilitate, formulate, and direct activities to better planting, cultivation, and harvesting, improving crop yield; Carry out all physical activities related to forage and silage production to ensure a high-quality source of energy and protein; Willing to work at all hours of the day to ensure timely covering of crops at harvest; Preparation of the landsite for crop storage; Capable of carrying 50 lbs or more in tires up and down crop piles; Extend plastic over the top of crop as quickly and safely as possible to minimize spoilage or loss of forage; Work well with colleagues and communicate well to ensure efficiency and safety; Every person is a representative of Farmdamentals when they are in the USA and they need to always remember that; Work hard, be courteous & respectful.

Special Requirements

Two (2) months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
